Welcome to the Artichoke Sandwichbar! Our Irish-inspired dive originally opened its doors in 1984, quickly becoming a Wichita icon in the historic Midtown area near Downtown. Since then, we’ve expanded to a second location at 29th and Rock Road in the Terracotta tower, where you can expect our renowned restaurant-by-day, full bar-by-night concept, set against a unique and diverse atmosphere. And, if you’re unable to join us in-house for our happy hour specials and live music, catch our food truck around town for a delicious sandwich on the go. Meet us at the Artichoke—cold Guinness and a friendly welcome are always on tap!

The Artichoke Sandwichbar is Wichita’s hottest spot to hear live acoustic music. Every Wednesday through Saturday night, our downtown location features local and traveling musicians. And to keep the party going, we have live music lined up every Thursday through Saturday night at our new Eastside location, with weekly karaoke nights on Wednesdays!
